Educational and Professional Background

Dr. Russell is a licensed clinical psychologist. She obtained her doctorate in 1990, a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Arizona: a Masters Degree in Psychiatric Nursing in 1981 from U.C.L.A and her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Loma Linda University in 1975. Dr. Russell is also licensed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Russell has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including outpatient clinic, inpatient hospitalization, school and private practice since 1975.

Areas of Special Interest

Dr. Russell provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in psychological, developmental and psychiatric evaluations of children with a subspecialty in developmental disabilities.

From 1-5, take exit 250. Head West on Old Fairhaven Parkway. Turn right on 12th Street and proceed to Mill Avenue (4 blocks). Turn left. Parking is available on the street. Dr. Russell's office is in Judson Plaza, the building on the South (left) side of Mill Avenue (on the corner of Mill and 11th St.). The entrance to the building is on Mill Avenue underneath a green awning. Enter through the door with the wheelchair symbol on it. Take the elevator to the second floor.
