AMH was founded in 1993 as a coordinated response to a rapidly changing healthcare delivery system driven by the early developments of managed healthcare. We began as an interdisciplinary team of clinicians sharing the goal of providing integrated, quality mental healthcare in an egalitarian independent practice association model. We have since evolved into a long-standing, cohesive group of masters and doctorate-level therapists working together in mutual support and community involvement.  AMH members have a shared commitment to foster professional excellence and to collectively navigate a changing mental healthcare environment.
