Educational and Professional Background:
Brittany Bruner is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Child Mental Health Specialist. She earned her BA in Psychology from WWU in 2007, and her MA in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle’s Child, Couple and Family Program in 2010. She has worked in a variety of settings including a drug and alcohol inpatient treatment facility for adolescents, a short term inpatient facility for those with mental illness, and a community mental health agency working with children, adolescents and families.
Areas of Interest:
Brittany enjoys working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. She employs a variety of theories in her work, including Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness and Solution Focused. Her work is process, and emotionally focused. She believes it is important that therapy be client focused, driven by what her client’s are bringing to the therapy room, and what they are hoping to accomplish. She looks forward to collaborating with you on you journey!
